Our design philosophy


The best quality of safe drinking water exists underground, protected from human and animal pollution. Grundfos LIFELINK’s first choice of water source will always be non-polluted groundwater. Our aim is to protect the groundwater source from contamination.

In rural communities without a safe groundwater source, our second choice is to investigate the possibilities for drilling a new borehole with safe groundwater.

In rural areas with water scarcity, polluted ground- & surface water may be the only source. This is our third choice, requiring the addition of purification modules to the water supply unit.

Our product concept supports these three options. Our focus however lies on water supply systems based on safe groundwater sources.
